What is your turn around time? When can I expect to receive my handmade garment?
Most items take 1 week to cut, sew, finish, and package. We typically begin cutting your order within a day after we receive it. Due to this, cancellations can only be processed within 24 hours of placing your order.
In high-volume seasons the turn around time can fluctuate. Feel free to communicate with us if you have any questions or concerns after the 1 week period.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 24 hours, you can send an email to email@example.com and let us know about the cancellation and an immediate refund will be granted. After two days, we will have likely started the production process. Due to the nature of every garment being handmade to order…we cannot offer cancellations after that two-day window: it isn’t cost-effective for our team or business.
What types of fabrics do you use?
We use the most sustainable fabrics we can find. All of our clothing is made from natural fibers such as linen. We seek to source our materials from reputable facilities that practice business at the same ethical standards we do.
Linen fabrics are made with flax fibers. Flax is very similar to hemp in its growing and cultivating properties as well as its durability and wear. Linen fibers are 100% biodegradable, they produce little to no lint, and can be worn year round.
What kind of dyes do you use?
The inks used by the printers to produce our designs are certificated as Azo dye free.
Also, keep in mind that the colors of the actual garment may be different than how they look in the photos, depending on your monitor settings, and whether the photo was taken in-studio or outside.
How do I care for my handmade garment?
Clothing can be hand-washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle with cold water to increase the dye and fabric longevity. Laying flat or hang-dry is best. Natural fibers like linen will wrinkle and crease. You just have to accept this as part of the look. However if you really want to iron the garment please use a medium heat with a pressing cloth whilst the garment is still damp.
Where is your clothing made?
Our clothing is made in a beautiful, sunlit studio in Norton-on-Derwent, Malton, North Yorkshire. Everything is made by people who live and raise families nearby.
Do you accept wholesale orders?
